First things first

Meet
Siesta Key.

Siesta Key is a barrier island off the coast of Sarasota, home to powdery white quartz sand that stays cool under your feet—even in the Florida sun.

The island has three distinct areas: Siesta Key Village on the north end for shops, restaurants and nightlife; the residential mid-Key; and the quieter Turtle Beach area to the south.

Two bridges connect the Key to the mainland. It is easy to reach, but traffic and parking get difficult during peak season. That is where Siesta Free Ride makes the day easier.
